Our Services

At Congregation Beth El, we have religious programming for all ages. Our services are fully egalitarian and feature beautiful music, inspiring sermons and a warm, embracing community. We use both traditional and contemporary melodies to help bring a meaningful worship experience to everyone. Our prayer book offers translations as well as transliterations. The Beth El family is a diverse group of all ages and stages of Jewish knowledge. Please explore our website and learn about our many worship services.

Beth El Friday Night Live! is a very participatory Shabbat service accompanied by a talented group of instrumentalists. You won't be able to sit still - clapping, dancing and singing are strongly encouraged. Check the Kabbalat Shabbat section for the dates of this special Friday night Shabbat service. All ages welcome.

Shabbat Ohr, Sabbath of Light - engages new rhythms, new meanings and a new way of looking at the world as a modern Jew. This new experience invites you to participate in lively singing, engaging learning, meditation, and bibliodrama. When you leave this experience, you might even see the world in a new light! Led by Rabbi Roston and Cantor Fine; accompanied by Michael Morris and Howard Cooper. Lay-led Library Minyan in Room 104 at 9:30am. Check the Shabbat morning section for dates.

Synaplex is about choices. Beth El understands that people experience spirituality and Shabbat in a variety of different ways. Throughout the year, we offer Shabbat alternatives to match the diversity of spiritual, cultural and educational interests of our congregation & community. From Jewish meditation to family services to inspiring discussions, we believe Synaplex strengthens Jewish identity and the Beth El community. Check the Shabbat morning section for dates.
